In Ruszów, the capabilities of a heavy technical rescue vehicle, the SCRt (Mega City Scania), were presented, while in Gościszów the new equipment of the Bolesławiec uniformed services was showcased: an SCD-42 mechanical ladder truck (Iveco Magirus) with a maximum reach of 42 m.
The demonstrations were organized as part of the “Put Out Risk!” programme implemented by the National Headquarters of the State Fire Service (more information about the initiative on the website of the Provincial Headquarters of the State Fire Service).
The programme’s main aim is to improve fire safety in residential buildings across Poland and, above all, to reduce the number of fire fatalities. More information is available on the website of the Bolesławiec County Headquarters of the State Fire Service.
