A resident of Gromadka Municipality notified the police that her husband had started an argument during which he threatened both her and the children. Police officers immediately detained the 48-year-old man.
At the time of his detention, the suspect was drunk—he had nearly 2.5 per mille of alcohol in his breath. Officers are currently investigating the circumstances of the family tragedy.
Moreover, at the request of the District Prosecutor's Office in Bolesławiec, the court ordered the 48-year-old to be remanded in custody for two months.
The man had previously been convicted of abuse. He could face up to five years in prison.
