According to the findings of the officers handling the case, since March this year the young man has committed at least a dozen thefts and damaged telecommunications cables (the perpetrator stole more than 300 metres of cable). The losses resulting from the suspect’s criminal activity were estimated at tens of thousands of zlotys, not to mention the problems with communications.
Police officers are currently thoroughly clarifying all the circumstances of the case, including whether the arrested man has committed other offences of this type.
The 26-year-old faces up to 8 years in prison.
