Officers from the Zgorzelec traffic police were conducting an operation called “Dangerous Transport”. The main aim of the action was to improve road safety.
The officers’ attention was drawn to the driver of an agricultural tractor, who was driving in a way that immediately aroused the uniformed officers’ suspicions.
The officers’ suspicions were confirmed. The tractor driver had… as much as 3.65 per mille of alcohol in his system. Moreover, his driving privileges had previously been revoked by decision of the district governor.
The tractor driver now faces up to 2 years in prison.
