  • Tennis classes as part of “Sporty Holidays 2015” on the tennis courts on Armii Krajowej Street
    • 3.08 at 10:00 a.m. – children in grades 1–3 of primary school; 4.08 at 10:00 a.m. – children in grades 4–6 of primary school; 5.08 at 10:00 a.m. – lower-secondary school students
    • 10.08 at 10:00 a.m. – children in grades 1–3 of primary school; 11.08 at 10:00 a.m. – children in grades 4–6 of primary school; 12.08 at 10:00 a.m. – lower-secondary school students
    • 17.08 at 10:00 a.m. – children in grades 1–3 of primary school; 18.08 at 10:00 a.m. – children in grades 4–6 of primary school; 19.08 at 10:00 a.m. – lower-secondary school students

  • 27.07 at 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. – “Basket 2015” mixed-team basketball tournament. Venue: the courts at Primary School No. 5 named after M. Skłodowska-Curie in Zgorzelec (Prusa Street). Three-person mixed teams in the primary-school category (or, if applicable, lower-secondary school) may participate
  • 28.07 at 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. – A walking treasure hunt combined with games and dexterity activities, “Along the Nysa Łużycka Trail”. Meeting point: Primary School No. 5 (Prusa Street). Route: Jakub Boehme House – Greek Boulevard – the grave of Corporal Władysław Hapunika by the Nysa Łużycka – viaduct under the motorway (refreshments for participants) – the tour ends at the Old Town Bridge. Route length: approx. 8 km
  • 29.07 at 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. – “Be physically fit”: games and dexterity activities. Venue: the courts at Primary School No. 5 named after M. Skłodowska-Curie in Zgorzelec (Prusa Street)
  • 30.07 at 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. – A cycling trip ending with a bonfire and “The Hilarious Competition”. Meeting point: Primary School No. 5 (Prusa Street). Route: Greek Boulevard – the cycle path by the Nysa Łużycka – Municipal Cultural Centre – viaduct – Błachańca Park – the courts on Konarskiego Street. Route length: 15–20 km
  • 31.07 at 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. – “Mundialito 2015” mixed-team football tournament. Venue: the courts at Primary School No. 5 named after M. Skłodowska-Curie in Zgorzelec (Prusa Street)

    The classes take place at the municipal stadium on Maratońska Street.

The Municipal Cultural Centre offers:

  • 1–12 July: morning film screenings at the cinema – free admission; screening times: 10:00 a.m. on weekdays and noon on Saturdays and Sundays
  • 6–10 July: cultural and language education workshops led by English-speaking volunteers (in two groups: for children and lower-secondary school students) – registration required, maximum 20 people per group; classes from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
  • 1–3 and 6–10 July: art classes (approx. 20 participants per class), from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
  • 6–18 July: workshops of the Zgorzelec Mandolin Orchestra – 30 people. (OW TEMAR in Kołatka).
