As officers established, the 20-year-old suspect committed at least five thefts in June this year. In one of Jelenia Góra’s shops, he took advantage of a security guard’s inattention and stole his mobile phone. In addition, he stole computer games twice from the same shop.
What is more, according to the officers’ findings, the 20-year-old stole groceries from a petrol station and robbed... his own mother. The man transferred PLN 250 from her account to a friend’s account via the internet. The victims’ total losses amount to nearly PLN 2,000.
The 20-year-old faces up to five years in prison.
