It was the fifth Three Towers Run, organised to promote active physical recreation and attract new enthusiasts. Around 412 competitors from all over Poland and beyond lined up at the start to compete on a very hot and humid day, and some of those crossing the finish line were greeted by rain.

The race began at 4:00 p.m. The route ran along asphalt and cobblestone surfaces. Representatives of the Bolesławiec Running Club were also among the participants.

A couples’ category was introduced for the first time. Both spouses had to complete the race within the time specified in the regulations. The couple’s combined time was used for the calculations. The Bolesławiec Running Club athletes did not disappoint in this category: Monika and Przemysław Lachowscy, who took second place.

Przemysław Lachowski crossed the finish line in 39:20, placing seventh in his age category, while Monika Lachowska completed the race in 44:45, also taking second place in the K30 age category.

The Bolesławiec Running Club was also represented by Bartosz Górecki, who finished in 59:18.

“The race was a success. Let’s hope we will also meet at next year’s competition in Prusice,” say Monika and Przemysław Lachowscy.
