During a patrol, officers from the station in Nowogrodziec noticed two men riding a quad bike without license plates. The driver did not stop for inspection, then suddenly turned onto a side road and began fleeing from the officers, leaving the vehicle and passenger behind. Police detained him after a pursuit. He was a 30-year-old resident of Nowogrodziec municipality.
It turned out that the man was riding the quad with... 3 parts per mille of alcohol in his system. Officers also determined that the detained man was wanted to serve an eight-month prison sentence.
That was not all! Since 2012, the 30-year-old has been subject to a ban on driving motor vehicles. The vehicle he was driving was not permitted for road use and did not have the required insurance.
The court will decide the 30-year-old’s fate.
