Maciej Małkowski wrote on his profile:

Facebook introduced the option of covering one’s profile picture with a rainbow color, thereby expressing support for the legalization of same-sex marriage in the USA. Another demand of LGBT communities is adoption of children by such couples, and this arouses my firm opposition. Therefore (…) I will have to say goodbye on FB to friends promoting behavior that I absolutely do not tolerate. To me, this is an obvious consequence.

Some friends themselves asked Małkowski to remove them. Michał Małkowski, president of the Management Board of Gerresheimer Bolesławiec S.A., supports his brother with a sexist comment: It has become terribly serious, so I will quote a classic: “lesbians—I’d gladly watch”.

A discussion erupted beneath the post. The behavior of the former candidate for mayor of Bolesławiec is shocking. In this post, Małkowski presents himself as intolerant and homophobic. People wrote to him, among other things:

Questionable radicalism. In a young person, it is even dangerous. Acceptance of same-sex relationships is absolutely not synonymous with acceptance of their adopting children.

Your approach to family, professional and social responsibilities deserves the highest respect in my view. That is why I did not believe what I read today, Mr. Maciek. The measure of our humanity, especially if we are Catholics, is our attitude toward people with different views. I am by no means saying that we should tolerate views or behavior in people that do not suit us or agree with them. Absolutely not. Everyone has the right to their own opinion. We do not have to share it. We can debate and discuss, but not insult people or remove them from our friends. I do not recall Jesus behaving this way.
