The man was supposed to serve a prison sentence for thefts. What is more, it turned out that in June this year in Jelenia Góra, the 25-year-old committed at least two other thefts. The man took advantage of an opportunity and robbed an elderly woman. The crime occurred when the woman was standing at a cashier's window and paying bills. The homeless man stole PLN 526.
Later, in one of the shops in Jelenia Góra, the man took advantage of the employees' inattention and stole computer games worth more than PLN 600.
After the necessary procedures were completed, the 25-year-old was taken to pre-trial detention. He faces up to 5 years in prison.
