The first speed measurement taken by the police showed that the motorcyclist was travelling at 200 km/h on a section with a limit of 110 km/h. Using flashing lights and sirens, the officers attempted to stop the rider. Instead, the motorcyclist accelerated and, ignoring the signals, continued driving. During this time, among other things, he repeatedly changed lanes without... signalling these manoeuvres.
The second measurement, taken on a bend in the motorway, showed that the motorcyclist was now travelling at 242 km/h.
After several kilometres, the police managed to stop the motorcyclist. He is a 39-year-old resident of the Chojnów municipality. His driving licence was confiscated. The case will be decided in court.
