Numerous competitions for the youngest participants were held, as well as tennis tournaments and exhibition matches featuring the Academy’s oldest members. The entire event took place in the company of a clown. As always, there was no shortage of delicious waffles or grilled sausages. The winners received prizes and trophies, while all participants were given a commemorative medal and gifts.
Here are the results in the individual competitions. Among the youngest participants, first place went to Vanessa Michaluk, followed by Igor Drozda, while third place was taken by Jakub Dąbrowa.
In the Girls’ Minitennis Tournament, Julia Rostkowska made a successful debut, taking first place. The next places went to Martyna Sinica and Klaudia Woch. In the Boys’ Minitennis Tournament, first place was won by Janek Reguła, ahead of Igor Gorski and Hubert Rupa.
The final match in the Girls’ Singles category featured Anastazja Zawer and Wiktoria Sobczyszyn. Anastazja won, Wiktoria came second, and Julia Klementowska claimed third place on the podium. The Boys’ Singles competition ended with Filip Witas taking the top spot, followed by Kacper Jaworski (second place) and Mateusz Cygan (third place).
In the women’s singles, Natalia Furdyna won, defeating Diana Dudyńska in the final. The men’s singles competition was won by Denis Rudzik. Jan Choryłek took second place on the podium, while third place went to Kuba Remiszewski.
At the end of the Picnic, Klaudia Witas and Nicolas Twardowski (Lower Silesian under-16 vice-champion) demonstrated their skills in an exhibition match. Congratulations once again to all the winners, and anyone interested in taking part in next year’s Tenis Park Picnic is invited to join us!
