We received information about the bees from our readers. Residents of Bolesławiec were concerned about the insects, which had built a nest in one of the trees near the Town Hall’s main entrance. We notified the firefighters and the property manager, namely the Municipal Office.

The owner of the property is responsible for removing the insects. They can ask beekeepers to do it free of charge. If the insects pose a threat to people and are aggressive, the fire brigade should be called. Fortunately, in this case there had not yet been any report of a sting.

If you are allergic to venom, keep well away from the Town Hall’s main entrance for now.

The situation is now under control. The area is being secured by the Municipal Guard. A beekeeper dealt with the swarm and collected the insects into a wooden box.
