Police officers from KPP Bolesławiec detained two men suspected of stealing telecommunications cable. The detainees are residents of Legnica County, aged 39 and 40.
Both were caught red-handed – some of the loot was already in the trunk of a car belonging to one of the suspects.
Officers from Bolesławiec and Kruszyn recovered the stolen property. The railway company estimated its losses at more than PLN 2,000.
Both detainees now face up to 5 years in prison.
