Those present at the airport included: Major General Jarosław Mika, commander of the 11th Lubusz Armored Cavalry Division, and Colonel Maciej Jabłoński, commander of the 10th Armored Cavalry Brigade.

After completing the formalities required before departure, efficiently handled by the staff of Wrocław–Starachowice Airport, a brief formation was held, during which the commanders wished the soldiers success and the proverbial “soldier’s luck.” Colonel Maciej Jabłoński, commander of the 10th Armored Cavalry Brigade, issued the final order before departure: “All of you, come back safe and sound.”

Immediately after the formation, the departing soldiers were transported to the airport apron, and before boarding the aircraft, both the division commander and the brigade commander shook hands with each future mission member.
