In Bolesławiec, 80 children received a set of books for the first grade of primary school. The textbooks were purchased as part of the implementation of the government programme for equalising pupils’ start to school, “School Starter Kit 2006”. The school starter kits were awarded to pupils from families whose per-person household income did not exceed the income criterion specified in Article 8, paragraph 1, point 2 of the Act of 12 March 2004 on social assistance.
The textbooks purchased by the Municipality of Bolesławiec were handed over to all eligible children from families with a low material status. The relevant report on the implementation of the government programme for equalising pupils’ start to school, “School Starter Kit 2006”, was sent to the Lower Silesian Voivode.
