Officers from the Criminal Department of the Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters caught the burglars red-handed. The incident took place at night in one of Bolesławiec’s housing estates.
The officers detained two men as they were leaving the building they had broken into. They had stolen property with them, namely tools used for construction work, including trowels, plastering floats and a spirit level, as well as items they had used to break in.
The detainees are two residents of Bolesławiec, aged 45 and 52. Both had previously been convicted. The recovered items will be returned to their owner. The 45- and 52-year-olds face up to 10 years in prison.
