We invite everyone interested in taking part in the competition and having a good time. To participate in the casting, applicants must be at least 17 years old and complete the application form available at www.bok.boleslawiec.pl
The winners of the competition—the Miss and Mister—will receive vouchers for trips abroad and material prizes. For one year, they will also represent the city of Bolesławiec and the Bolesławiec Ceramic Festival. Attractive prizes will also go to the other event participants.
The Miss and Mister competition will take place in August during the 21st Bolesławiec Ceramic Festival. Until then, the candidates will work on choreography under the guidance of instructors Maciej Kołodziejski and Katarzyna Maksymowicz. In addition, makeup artist Katarzyna Maksymowicz and Paweł Saja from the Matrix hair salon will take care of the participants’ appearance. The contestants’ outfits will be provided, among others, by the owners of Bolesławiec boutiques JOY FASHION and E!STILO, as well as Salon Sukien Ślubnych i Wieczorowych Lejdis.
Young, brave and attractive candidates took part in the two May castings. Each person had something interesting about them. During the casting, the candidates gave a classic presentation: they had to introduce themselves, say a few words about themselves and then walk across the room to the rhythm of the music. Despite the stress, they managed to present themselves well and show their strengths to the judges. The jury consisted of Agnieszka Podłaszczyk—instructor and dance choreographer at BOK-MCC; Katarzyna Maksymowicz (Werner), a Miss Polski ’99 finalist; Paweł Saja, a stylist; and Maciej Kołodziejski, manager of the hair salon on Sierpnia’80 Street in Bolesławiec.
BOK-MCC is organizing the Miss competition for the second time and, for the first time, the Mister competition of the Bolesławiec Ceramic Festival. Last year’s first edition of the Miss Bolesławiec Ceramic Festival competition attracted considerable interest and many sponsors. The festival’s Miss was Maja Letko, who thereby became the face of our city.
