Officers determined that stolen cars might be located on one of the private properties in Zgorzelec. Their suspicions were confirmed.
In the garage, police found and secured four BMW cars and one Renault. According to their findings, the vehicles had been stolen in Germany. Car parts were also found at the site; they came from three other BMWs, which had also been stolen.
The value of the recovered property was initially estimated at nearly half a million zlotys. A 50-year-old man suspected of handling stolen goods has already been detained. He faces up to 10 years in prison.
The case is ongoing.
