The Rover driver did not stop after “clipping” the road sign. When he realised that another car was following him, he began to flee. After several minutes, he abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot. The police officer caught up with him and subdued him, then called a traffic patrol.
It turned out that the Rover driver was sober. Nevertheless, a test carried out with a drug tester showed that the man was under the influence of amphetamine.
The road pirate was placed in police custody. He is a 22-year-old resident of Legnica. He faces up to two years in prison and a fine.
