Three cars collided on the road from Bolesławiec to Lwówek Śląski. The accident occurred on Monday at the turnoff toward Żeliszów. The collision was caused by the driver of a BMW who, while driving from Bolesławiec and turning left toward Żeliszów, failed to yield the right of way. The driver of an Opel Vectra did not manage to brake and hit the right side of the BMW, which in turn struck the front of a Ford Transit standing on the minor road. Four people were injured in the accident: a woman and an infant from the BMW, as well as two young people from the Opel. All four were taken to the hospital in Bolesławiec.
