The suspected 31-year-old was detained after officers found him on one of the streets of Bolesławiec with a large sum of money (PLN 8,000) and marijuana.
It turned out that the money came from... a store robbed by the Bolesławiec resident. What is more, officers proved that the detainee had committed 7 additional offenses in Bolesławiec between April and May 11 this year.
The 31-year-old resident of Bolesławiec was charged with 8 offenses: 7 thefts and fraud. The thief stole, among other things, bicycles, wallets, car keys and a computer. Police have already recovered some of the property and returned it to its owners.
The suspect admitted his guilt. He faces up to 8 years in prison.
