Eight months ago, an at-the-time unknown perpetrator stole a Seat passenger car. The vehicle was found by police officers from Ścinawa. The perpetrator was no longer there. The officers carefully examined the scene and the recovered vehicle and secured a number of traces.
Then came the arduous work of analysing them. The investigating officer’s patience paid off. After eight months, the secured traces were matched to a specific person. On 12 May, police officers knocked on his door. He was detained and taken to police custody.
The 34-year-old resident of Ścinawa will now certainly not avoid punishment. He faces up to eight years in prison for the crime he committed.
