This refers, among other things, to LED lighting. Many people, however, ask themselves whether LED strips are truly a hit or rather a tacky solution that is best avoided and not installed in their interiors, especially new and very elegant ones. The answer depends solely on our personal sense of aesthetics. What is certain, however, is that LED lighting, including strips, is selling increasingly well, and users praise its effectiveness and the results it produces.

Regardless of whether we like this type of lighting or not, one thing is certain: using this technology can lead to significant savings on electricity bills. What is more, these lighting modules are highly efficient, as their operating life is estimated at more than 10 years (although much depends on the manufacturer and type of lighting). They are certainly much more efficient than traditional light bulbs, including halogen versions. Considering that these specific LED strips have been used in an increasing number of architectural projects in recent years, it can be concluded that there is demand for them and that they enjoy considerable interest. This is a product that sells well.

When furnishing interiors, we are increasingly choosing to install this type of lighting because it is exceptionally versatile. This is due to the possibility of choosing from many shades of light. Thanks to their structure, small size and flexibility, they can be installed very easily, essentially anywhere. They are most often installed on stairs, suspended ceilings or above kitchen countertops. There are many more options, however, and our only limitations are imagination and creativity. LED strips can also be divided into modules of any size, making it possible to install them on virtually any surface and at any length. Another advantage of this type of lighting is its simple installation. They come with adhesive tape, so they can easily be attached anywhere. There is also the option of protecting these strips in special LED profiles, which improves both their aesthetic appeal and functionality. However, always remember to thoroughly clean and degrease the surface where they are to be attached.

LED strips are safe not only for the environment but also for us. The light they emit is pleasant to the eye. This allows us to use the emitted light freely  without straining our eyes. The range includes LED strips in nearly every available light color. In addition, manufacturers offer automated LED strips; with suitable controllers, we can adjust the shades of light. LED strips also vary in intensity, as versions emitting both stronger and weaker light are available. Everything depends on the density of the installed diodes. Their resistance to mechanical damage and water resistance may also be advantages.

Of course, we should not go overboard either. If we install this type of lighting in almost every room, we may achieve the opposite of the intended effect—not elegance, but the tackiness we fear. It should also be remembered that LED lighting is primarily installed in modern interiors. Therefore, before installing it, we should check whether such modules will actually suit the given room.
