As many as three teams from the Zespół Szkół Elektronicznych in Bolesławiec were awarded prizes. Electronics technicians (comprising: Krystian Polak, Marcin Pawliszak, Bartosz Skiersinis) took first place (supervisor: Jan Bernecki) in the Jelenia Góra region, while digital graphic process technicians (Patrycja Marcinów, Agata Prosół, Damian Pieczarka; supervisor: Elżbieta Niedźwiecka) and electrical technicians (Arkadiusz Gawenda, Tomasz Różnicki, Dawid Wołcz; supervisor: Andrzej Mitek) took second place.
The young participants approached the competition with considerable detachment, because the scope of the material was so extensive that no one expected a test of so many practical skills. Our champions gave it their all. At times, luck was lacking; on other occasions, they were just 0.03% of a point short of taking first place.
We warmly congratulate them and are slightly envious of the prizes (graphics tablets, professional measuring instruments and specialist tools). Although the supervisors of our champions did not receive material prizes, the pride they take in their students’ achievements is no less valuable a reward for the work they put into the preparations. The champions’ successes prove that it is worth testing your knowledge and skills. Remember: anyone can become a champion!
