The county championships of primary schools in the track and field quadrathlon are behind us. The competition was held on May 5 at the municipal stadium. The county champions were the girls from SP No. 4 in Bolesławiec (line-up: Maja Górska, Amelia Jackowska, Amelia Tur, Julia Sandak, Pola Burczyk and Weronika Wawrzkiewicz). The champion team’s coach is Rafał Kwieciński. The athletes from Oxpress took second place (Izabela Kalenik, Aleksandra Mulica, Aleksandra Kunecka, Joanna Ośko, Natalia Łomańska and Aleksandra Michalewicz; coach: Maciej Sawicki). The representatives of SP in Parowa came third.
In the boys’ category, the county championship was won by the team from Nowogrodziec (line-up: Emil Siedlecki, Wiktor Wiciak, Kamil Dachnij, Jakub Kukawski, Maciej Filistyński and Paweł Wójcik). The team’s coach is Wojciech Jasiński. The athletes from Raciborowice were runners-up (Szymon Rygiel, Aleksander Zawada, Patryk Wieczorek, Tadeusz Suszek, Patryk Cechner and Dawid Doktor; coach: Dariusz Wójcik). The track and field athletes from Parowa took third place (Rafał Mazur, Szymon Olczak, Tomasz Olczak, Marcin Maćkowiak, Dawid Hanusiak and Mateusz Tywończuk; coach: Paweł Nitko).
Individually, the most points were scored by Julia Słowik and Rafał Mazur, both from SP in Parowa. The two best girls’ teams and the three best boys’ teams qualified for the zone-level competition. The event was organized by the Powiatowe Centrum Edukacji i Kształcenia Kadr.
