Police officers from the Criminal Department of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Jelenia Góra identified and then arrested three Karpacz residents aged between 18 and 25, suspected of robbery involving a dangerous weapon. Officers determined that the incident took place on February 14, 2015, at around 11:55 p.m. in Karpacz. The store owner notified the duty officer at the Municipal Police Headquarters in Jelenia Góra about the attack.

According to the reporting party, shortly before closing time that day, three masked men ran into the store. One of them used a telescopic baton to smash the glass in a refrigerated display case, while another terrorized the victim with an object resembling a firearm. The third man stole several beers. As a result, they made off with the cash register drawer containing the money, as well as several beers.

The procedural and operational activities conducted in this case made it possible to identify and then arrest the people suspected of the offense. The attackers turned out to be three Karpacz residents. Police officers are currently clarifying all the circumstances of the case in detail.
They were placed in police custody. Robbery involving a dangerous weapon may carry a prison sentence of up to 15 years. The men have already been remanded in custody for three months.
