On Friday, May 1, at 10:00 a.m., the Legnica Sports and Recreation Centre invites everyone interested to a volleyball picnic. The event will take place on the training courts in the City Park.
The organizer will provide players with eight grass courts, where volleyball players will compete in the junior-high, upper-secondary and open categories. The winning teams will receive trophies and certificates, while all participants will be treated to grilled sausage.
Registration is accepted by email: ci@osir.legnica.pl or on the day of the event until 9:30 a.m. at the competition office. The entry fee is PLN 1 per person and PLN 20 per team.
On Sunday, May 3, the Sports and Recreation Centre invites everyone to a May Day cycling trip to the Three Lakes. Cyclists will set off from the OSiR headquarters (7 NMP Street) at 11:00 a.m. The route will lead from Legnica through Ziemnice, Grzybiany and Jaśkowice to Kunice. The cyclists will stop for a break in Grzybiany, where delicious potatoes in their jackets will be waiting for them. Refreshed and relaxed by Lake Koskowickie, they will set off through Rosochata towards Lake Jaśkowickie, which they will circle along its western side. The next part of the May Day cycling route will follow an asphalt road to Kunice. There, by the local lake at the Posejdon resort, the cyclists will take a longer rest and enjoy a hot meal. The return journey will be arranged independently.
The organizers warmly invite families and individual cyclists (children under 11 only under adult supervision). Minors must have their parents’ consent to participate in the cycling tour. The entry fee is PLN 7 per person or PLN 15 for a family. The limit is 200 participants.
