Jennifer Batten played in Jackson's professional band, including during the famous “Bad” concert tour, which was seen by four and a half million people worldwide. The artist also accompanied the King of Pop on other world tours, concerts and recordings.
Together with Jackson, she also took part in Superbowl XXVII, which reached one and a half billion viewers in 80 countries. It was the largest television audience in history. Jennifer Batten has also released three solo albums and played—and continues to play—with other stars. She is currently planning to record a new album with Jeff Beck. Readers of the famous guitar magazine “Guitar Player” named her the world's best female guitarist.
Her concerts feature music bordering on rock, jazz and world music, as well as a multimedia spectacle that inspires admiration worldwide. In Legnica, the artist will be accompanied by: Łukasz Gorczyca (bass), Tomasz Dominik (drums) and Jacek Prokopowicz (keyboard).
The Legnica Blues Day lineup will also include Patrycja Kamola Project & Jacek „J.J.” Jaguś. Patrycja has already showcased her vocal skills alongside such stars of the Polish jazz scene as Bogdan Hołownia, Lora Szafran and Grażyna Łobaszewska. She has accompanied performances by Mieczysław Szcześniak, Alicja Janosz and Krzysztof Kiljański. In 2014, she launched Mike Russell's nationwide concert tour with a performance in Legnica.
