Before noon, a motorcycle and a passenger car collided at the intersection of Karola Miarki and Dzieci Wrześni streets. The driver of a Renault Megane entered the intersection from Dzieci Wrześni Street. At that time, a motorcyclist was traveling along Karola Miarki Street toward the city center. The man was unable to brake in time, struck the Renault’s front fender, flew over the car and landed on the road several meters away.

The motorcyclist was taken to hospital. According to eyewitnesses, the injured man did not lose consciousness. During the rescue operation, he answered questions from the paramedics. Police are investigating the circumstances of the accident. The motorcycle and passenger car had license plates from outside Bolesławiec.

Bolesławiec residents living near the ill-fated intersection claim that it is poorly marked. There is no sign on the Dzieci Wrześni Street side. As a result, drivers, mainly those from outside Bolesławiec, do not know whether they are traveling on a priority road or approaching one.
