The Memory of Him Endures

In connection with the 10th anniversary of the death of St. John Paul II, the authorities of Gmina Węgliniec invite all residents to the park in Węgliniec, at Karola Wojtyły Street, by the monument to John Paul II. The event begins at 9:30 p.m.

As we read on the website of the Municipal and City Office:

By taking part, we will honor the memory of St. John Paul II. Flowers will be laid and candles lit at the monument. Symbolically, at 9:37 p.m., as a sign that the Holy Father John Paul II has departed to the “House of the Lord,” fire-service sirens will sound.
