Police officers from the Criminal Department of the Lubin County Police Headquarters arrested the perpetrator of several burglaries at apartments. The 51-year-old resident of Pomerania stole everything he could get his hands on, especially items he could quickly sell.
He carried out his activities from mid-February until March this year in Lubin. After breaking the locks on apartment doors, the perpetrator stole, among other things, televisions, laptops, phones, jewelry and money.
Police established the location where the 51-year-old man from Pomerania was hiding. The burglar was completely surprised by the officers’ visit and did not expect to be arrested at all.
The officers are currently investigating all the circumstances of the case. It cannot be ruled out that the man also committed burglaries in other cities in western Poland.
The 51-year-old now faces up to 10 years in prison.
