Police officers from the Criminal Division of Police Station I in Jelenia Góra detained a 40-year-old homeless man suspected of theft.
The detainee is suspected of at least two thefts committed in Jelenia Góra. On February 24, the man stole three electric shavers worth nearly PLN 700 from a discount store, and two days later he stole two surveillance cameras valued at PLN 600.
The 40-year-old told the officers that he had sold the shavers at one of Jelenia Góra’s pawnshops and the cameras to a random passerby.
The suspect faces up to five years in prison.
