A 39-year-old cyclist suddenly turned into a side street when he saw a police car. As it turned out, there was a reason for this – he was drunk, with almost 0.9 per mille of alcohol in his system. What is more, it emerged that the bicycle the 39-year-old was riding had been stolen in Kraków in November last year.
The suspect was taken into police custody. He faces up to five years in prison for handling stolen goods. The bicycle, worth several hundred złoty, will be returned to its owner.
