Last Thursday, the official opening of a new bridge over the Bóbr took place in Parkoszów. In addition to county and rural municipality authorities, the ceremony was attended by Bishop Stefan Cichy and Lower Silesian Voivode Krzysztof Grzelczyk. The bridge’s contractors and designers were also present.
The new bridge was built to replace the old wooden one. The bridge was damaged many times during floods. Each time, local residents repaired it. The new crossing will no longer be threatened by flooding. The newly built bridge has a modern structure. None of its spans is located in the river current.
