The 30-year-old resident of Jelenia Góra broke into and robbed at least two cars, a mailbox, several cellars, warehouses and utility rooms. The suspect also took advantage of victims’ inattention: in this way, he stole skiing equipment, money from a victim’s handbag, laptops and other items.
He is also suspected of stealing power tools, bicycles, navigation devices, a car radio, sanitary fixtures, cables and tyres, as well as audio-video equipment. The victims’ total losses amount to more than PLN 55,000.
The Jelenia Góra resident confessed to the crimes. What is more, the man was wanted by the District Court in Jelenia Góra to serve a three-month prison sentence.
He now faces up to 10 years in prison.
