“The Last Play” is a grotesque study of the process of creating a stage work, and at the same time a humorous reflection on the reality around us and the place of the actor, author and audience in contemporary theatre.

“The Last Play” features Grzegorz Matysik and Bogdan Słomiński. The performance had its world premiere on 4 February 2014 at Teatr Powszechny in Warsaw, and its premiere on 7 February 2014 at Teatr Groteska in Krakow.

“The Last Play” is worth seeing. It is about theatre, art, life, perversity and, above all, the relationship between author and actor. And the most valuable thing about Schaeffer is that he can laugh at himself. He also invites theatre creators and audiences to gain distance from themselves and not take themselves too seriously, because that makes life easier. With him, nothing is what it appears to be at first glance. Everything can turn in any direction. Nothing can be predicted.

27 March (Friday), 6:00 p.m., MDK auditorium, tickets PLN 15 (already on advance sale).
