Bolesławiec police officers recovered a VW Touran that was stolen in February 2015 in Bolesławiec. The car was located on the premises of a private property in Gromadka Municipality.
The vehicle was hidden in an outbuilding. The value of the recovered property is estimated at several thousand zlotys. The property owner was also arrested. The 36-year-old has already been charged with handling stolen goods.
The case is developing, as during a search of the suspect’s property, officers found, among other things, car parts and electronic devices. The officers are checking whether the secured items came from a crime or were used to commit one.
The detained man had previously been recorded for property-related offenses. He now faces up to five years in prison.
