– Some of them have never been to Poland, but they sing Polish songs, pray in Polish and respect Polish symbols – said County Head Dariusz Kwaśniewski during a press conference. The cooperation plans cover many areas: economic, educational and artistic.
One practical aspect of this cooperation is to be a summer camp organised for children from Bosnia in Bolesławiec County. The project is awaiting approval from the Ministry of Education; in the meantime, the atmosphere of the second Balkan homeland will be brought closer to county residents by performances of “My Bosnia,” directed by Jacek Głomb, which can once again be seen at the Old Theatre in Bolesławiec (11, 12, 13 March, 6:00 p.m.; ticket – PLN 10)
– Performances mature like children. The same is true of “My Bosnia” – emphasised Jacek Głomb. – The play is well received. It arouses controversy, but that is what we intended... It is not bland or mediocre... We address difficult social issues here, and that always arouses emotions.
