The performance featured local young people: Emilia Urban, Żaneta Ratajczak, Wiktoria Woźna, Joanna Pawlak, Wojciech Faltyn, and Jarek Hutnik. They were the main protagonists of the performance and led the entire ceremony. The “Bojagama” ensemble also took part in the project: Grażyna Dwornik-Biały, Małgorzata Suchcicka, Agnieszka Faltyn, Urszula Zmarzła, councillor Agnieszka Miszkiewicz, Bogusław Weiss, and village head Mieczysław Goleński.
The ensemble greatly enjoys working with young people and children. It readily shares its observations and life experience, which provides a valuable lesson for young people. Thanks to them, they understand that an adult is not an enemy but a guide. The teenagers, in turn, teach adults patience, respect for the younger generation, and how to see the world from a different perspective. Bringing these generations together resulted in an extraordinary performance presenting the history of the “cursed soldiers.”
Many guests attended the ceremony, including councillor Andrzej Szwedo, Trzebień village head Małgorzata Zoryło, poet Ryszard Adam Gruchawka, and chairwoman of the Trzebień KGW Józefa Merek.
The repertoire was highly varied in terms of how the patriotic songs were performed. The younger generation’s interpretation of the pieces deserves particular attention. The performance positively surprised the audience with its innovation and originality. The entire show was rewarded with loud applause. It was an extraordinary performance that brought together the generations of the performers and audience through a history lesson. The collaboration was not a one-time event, as further projects are planned.
