The city and county primary school athletics triathlon championships were held on Wednesday at the stadium on Spółdzielcza Street. Participants competed in three events: the 60-metre run, softball throw and long jump. In the girls’ category, the county champion was Szkoła Podstawowa nr 2. Szkoła Podstawowa z Brzeźnika took second place. Szkoła Podstawowa nr 3 and Szkoła Podstawowa nr 4 followed. In the individual classification, Paulina Kowalik (SP nr 2) scored the most points, ahead of Beata Cieśla (SP Brzeźnik) and Michalina Zając (SP nr 2).
In the boys’ team classification, the Szkoła Podstawowa nr 4 team won. The school from Nowogrodziec took second place. The school from Ocice came third. Bolesławiec’s Schools No. 2 and No. 3 finished seventh and eighth. Individually, Szymon Bulanda (SP Parowa) accumulated the most points. Damian Bober (SP Nowogrodziec) was second, while Tomasz Błażejewski (SP nr 4) finished third. The championships were organised by the Międzyszkolny Ośrodek Sportu and Miejski Ośrodek Sportu i Rekreacji.
