At the beginning of the week, the injured party notified Lubin police about a break-in at his store. The perpetrator took power tools and other items worth approximately PLN 2,000.
At the scene, police officers found items hidden in the store that the burglar had not yet managed to take away. It was clear to the officers that the perpetrator would return for them.
And that is exactly what happened. During the night of February 25–26, the same thief broke into the store again. He entered through an opening in the roof and immediately went to the place where he had hidden the aforementioned items. The police officers were already waiting for him there. The burglar was arrested and taken into police custody.
The 32-year-old resident of Lubin faces up to 10 years in prison.
