On Valentine’s Day, Nowogrodziec police officers received information that a theft had occurred at a facility producing cosmetic products. Someone broke into an employee locker and stole a wedding ring.
The officers detained a suspect: a 22-year-old resident of Lubań. It turned out that the man had pawned the ring, worth PLN 900, at one of Lubań’s pawnshops. The recovered property was returned to its owner.
The detainee had once worked for the company where the crime occurred. He had previously been convicted of theft. He now faces up to 10 years in prison.
