After listening to 24 recitation performances, the Competition Committee, comprising Ewa Ołenicz-Bernacka, Urszula Frąszczak-Matyjewicz and Agnieszka Fiołkowska, awarded prizes to five students from schools in Bolesławiec: Marlenie Szczęsny from Primary School No. 1, Gabrielowi Burdzy from Primary School No. 5, Poli Burczyk and Zuzannie Rewińskiej from Primary School No. 4, and Natalii Rzatkiewa from Primary School No. 3. The award winners have thereby qualified for the district qualifiers, which will take place on 5 March at the Old Theatre in Bolesławiec.
The committee also decided to grant three honourable mentions, which went to: Szymon Dzierżanowski from Primary School No. 3, Anna Mularczyk from Primary School No. 5, and Joanna Ośko from the private primary school “Oxpress”. Congratulations, and we wish the young reciters further success.
