The detainees met while working on the construction of the swimming pool. Together, they removed from the construction site sheets used to line the pool basin, worth approximately PLN 1,000. The 22-year-old then sold the stolen property at a non-ferrous metal collection point and shared the money with his older accomplice.
The 22- and 24-year-olds were detained. The suspects confessed to the crime. The officers recovered the stolen sheets, which were returned to their owner.
The detainees face up to five years in prison.
