The incident occurred at the end of December last year in a drugstore in Jelenia Góra. The man stole perfume worth more than PLN 100, and when a security guard attempted to take it from him, the suspect pushed him and then fled with the stolen goods.
The 28-year-old resident of Jelenia Góra was detained. He admitted to the crime. Police supervision and a ban on leaving the country were imposed on him.
He now faces up to 10 years in prison.
