As officers established, from February to October 2014, the suspect robbed at least three women in Jelenia Góra. The 53-year-old took advantage of their momentary inattention, most often while they were shopping in stores, and stole their wallets. On one occasion, she robbed a woman who was walking with a child in a stroller.
Her haul amounted to more than PLN 1,000 in total, as well as documents and bank cards.
The resident of Kamienna Góra admitted guilt. She faces up to five years in prison.
