The work of Bogatynia officers includes, among other things, detaining people evading court sentences and failing to report to correctional facilities. Over the past two days, officers from Bogatynia managed to detain as many as five people wanted by law enforcement authorities.
Among those detained was a 23-year-old resident of Bogatynia, who was found in possession of marijuana and amphetamine at the time of his arrest. Now, not only must the detainee serve his earlier sentences of several years, but he will also await another hearing for drug possession, for which he faces an additional two years.
