Two groups of students from the school in Ocice took part in theatre classes. The older group formed the “Na próbę” theatre, which performed the play “It’s Burning” at the Old Theatre on 10 February, based on a poem by Jan Brzechwa. Although the play is not long, the young actors faced a difficult task: delivering the rhymed lines requires a truly fast pace. However, they did not seem nervous for a moment while performing on a real stage and handled the task superbly. This was confirmed by Aneta Ćwieluch, the theatre director, who made no secret after the performance that she would be happy to invite the students from Ocice to classes at MDK. Meanwhile, director Dariusz Wojtowicz invited her to carry out another project at the Primary School in Ocice.
The performance itself was exceptionally dynamic and spectacular. Because the “Na próbę” Theatre decided to make its debut by staging a short theatrical form, the youngest pupils of the school also took part in the presentation on the theatre stage. As the young actors announced, they intend to continue their adventure with theatre.
