Officers from the Criminal Division of the District Police Headquarters in Polkowice, together with employees of the Bureau for International Police Cooperation, determined the location where an Audi Q7 stolen from Austria at the beginning of February this year was being concealed. The car, worth more than PLN 112,000, was in one of the garages on the outskirts of Polkowice.
What is more, two men, aged 20 and 28, suspected of stealing the vehicle and concealing it, were arrested. They are residents of Lubin Rural Commune.
Items originating from the thefts of two other vehicles were also recovered: an Audi Q5 stolen in Wrocław and a Mercedes Sprinter stolen in France.
Both residents of Lubin Rural Commune were taken into police custody. They face up to 5 years in prison.
